Objective of Inspections

Job opportunity:
To conduct Stormwater, Green Builder 3rd Party Verification inspections on commercial and residential construction sites.

• Houston Metro, TX
• San Antonio Metro, TX
• Austin Metro, TX

Requirements

• Construction Experience
• Familiar with construction site safety and protocols
• Inspection Experience preferred
• Able to find and quickly complete on-line forms and print reports
• Able to successfully complete training and maintain certifications
• Focused attention to Detail
• Able to work effectively and tactfully with clients
• Able to work part time hours on 24-48 hours notice
• Able to work an uneven work hours - will work around your schedule in some cases
• LEED or NAHB Green Builder certifications helpful but not required
• CESWII certifications helpful but not required
• NPDES Storm water experience helpful but not required
• Water District experience helpful but not required
• Engineering, Certified Landscaping, Geology, or environmental schooling helpful but not required

Duties

• Receive Inspection Assignments
• Receive Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
• Deliver SWPPP to construction sites
• Conduct Inspections on Installed database in your PC
• Print Inspections
• Annotate SWPPP plan on site as needed
• Brief Construction Site Project Manager if available
• Run utility Software the synchronizes your offline database with the online database from Home
• Successfully complete on-line training as required to remain current.
• Maintain mileage log
• Submit hours and approved expenses in a timely manner

Hours: From 0 to 32 hours per week

Equipment:

-Notebook Computer
-On line access from Home
-Reliable Car (will pay Mileage)

Pay

• Depends on complexity and technical requirements of inspections able to be assigned.

$15-$50 per hour

Travel

• As required for weekly inspections
